What Believe

1. In the verbal inspiration of the scriptures, both Old and New testaments, that they are a revelation from God to man, and that they are man's ultimate rule of faith and action.

2. Our God is a Trinity in unity, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations.

4. That regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

5. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ shed in His atoning sacrificial death at the cross.

6. In a life of holiness, without which no man can see the Lord, through sanctification as a definite, yet progressive, work of grace.

7. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost, which is given to believers who ask for it and is an empowerment of the believer to be a witness.

8. In water baptism by immersion for believers only, which is a direct commandment of our Lord.

9. In the Lord's supper and washing of the saints' feet.

10. That the atoning work of Christ on the cross provided healing for the human body, and that healing is available to all.

11. In the blessed hope, the rapture of the Church at Christ's coming.

12. In the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto everlasting life and they that are lost unto everlasting damnation.
